Dental Crowns and Bridges
Dental crowns and bridges are designed to protect a weakened tooth by fitting entirely over the visible portion of the tooth. Your restoration can be either cosmetic or restorative. In either situation, patients of Reflections Dental Care can feel confident that their smile will look and feel natural after treatment with a metal-free dental crown.
- Fractures/ breaks
- Failed fillings
- Brittleness after root canal therapy
- Tooth loss
Custom Designed Crowns
Custom designed crowns preserve the natural beauty of your smile. In addition to providing a strong buffer against the forces of chewing, a metal-free crown preserves the natural beauty of the smile. What makes our crowns different is that they are metal-free, custom designed by Dr. Schmidt and his team, they last for fifteen or more years, and they do not show a dark line where tooth structure meets gums.
Same Day Crowns
CEREC same day crowns are metal-free crowns that are the preferred crown choice for the patient who wants to complete treatment in a single visit with no temporary crowns. Our CEREC crowns replicate existing tooth anatomy achieving excellent bite and functionality, and each custom crown is artfully crafted for each patient.
CEREC Crowns Make Sense
High-tech imaging creates a computer-animated model. The crown is then custom stained, glazed, and placed into a porcelain oven to give it strength and sheen. Once the crown is completed, it is bonded to the tooth and treatment is complete. The restoration is evaluated on the tooth & modified if necessary for bite and fit
A dental bridge is one way in which a missing tooth may be replaced. It is crafted by a master ceramist with precise attention to detail. An artificial tooth replaces your missing tooth and a dental bridge can last more than a decade.
How It Works
Fixed bridges are designed with two dental crowns, each of which is affixed to a tooth on the outside of the empty space. Between these crowns is the artificial tooth. Implants are the best solution to replace a missing tooth; however, implants are not always possible and when an implant cannot be done, then a dental bridge is still a good choice.
