After graduating from dental school, I was accepted into a prestigious residency called Advanced Education in General Dentistry. Acceptance into the AEGD Residency is highly competitive and few go on to complete this rigorous, post-doctoral education.
During this program, we received advanced training in various aspects of general dentistry. One of those happens to be my favorite: cosmetic & complex rehabilitation.
In 2004, I founded Reflections Dental Care to be the kind of clinic I would want to go to. That means not having to drive all around town to get all your dental work done. So this is why, in addition to continuous and preventive care dentistry, we are proud to offer many treatments all under one roof in the world of cosmetic dentistry.
It’s as much an art as it is a science. Our technology is some of the most advanced in the world, and great cosmetic dentistry can only be possible when your provider takes the time to understand your goals and needs. So I invite you to continue reading to learn more about the options we have available to you here at Reflections Dental Care.
Think about the word cosmetic itself. It’s defined as “involving or relating to treatment intended to restore or improve a person’s appearance.” A person’s appearance being improved can be very subjective. As dentists who have helped many, many people achieve the smile of their dreams, we can provide you with our professional opinions, but in the end, it is your decision. You have to decide what is best for you.
Technology in cosmetic dentistry has advanced in very recent years. We can now offer you a beautiful smile that is durable and provides restored function.
Our patients never regret investing in their cosmetic appearance. It’s a need for many of us that tends to get placed lower in priority. But once we finally move forward, we can’t believe we didn’t do it earlier.
And we can make this smile of your dreams affordable through many forms of payment and even payment plans. Contact our office at (405) 563-7097 to discuss your options.
Below, you will find a few of the many cosmetic strategies and treatments you have available to you.
One of the most inspiring moments for us is when a patient actually gets to see what they will look like after treatment is complete. With modern digital imaging software, we can actually give you a photo of your dream smile, before treatment.
You’ll be able to see gaps closed. Discoloration? Gone. Teeth straightened. Stains? Removed. Cracked or missing teeth? Welcome back, beautiful smile. We have trained technicians who can operate this amazing software and at my direction will ensure that your dream smile simulation will be as beautiful and as close as possible to the final expected outcome.
For many, my recommendation for them is to pursue teeth whitening before more advanced levels of cosmetic dentistry. It’s amazing what a professional teeth whitening can do for your overall cosmetic appearance. We offer several different types of teeth whitening products and services. We have at home kits as well as two levels of in-office treatments. For those desiring the most effective and, in my opinion, the best treatment, I recommend selecting our Kor® whitening treatment.
Patients, who may have not been to the dentist in a while, are often astounded when they find that there is something called a tooth colored filling. My guess is that many of you reading this now have or know someone who has metal tooth fillings. Today, I am proud to tell you that our office only places tooth-colored fillings.
These fillings will match the color of your teeth and once cured, will make your tooth look just like it used to! If you have the old metal fillings, we can also help you remove those and restore with the more cosmetically appealing tooth colored filling.
We tend to think of porcelain and ceramic as being fragile but this is not necessarily the case. Porcelain is in many times as strong if not stronger than your tooth enamel.
With porcelain crowns and veneers, when it is time to restore or protect a tooth in need, you get the added benefit of having a cap that matches the rest of your teeth.
In addition, our office is one of a few in the city to have a CEREC® machine in office. This amazing technology allows us to scan your tooth and create a 3D image. This image is then used by the machine to perfectly mill out a replacement crown that matches your existing tooth with extremely high precision.
This also means that for most patients, you can enjoy same day crowns. We simply scan the tooth, have the machine mill it out, and place it back in your mouth. The whole process takes less than two hours.
You will no longer have to choose between durable and beautiful. Modern dentistry is both. Quickly and precisely.
NOTE: A common way of the past was to bake porcelain crowns onto metal. This left a gray/black ring at the gemlike or margin of the tooth. If you have a crown that was made using this outdated method, we can switch it out for a beautiful all-porcelain brown with no dark ring.
Dentures can be a thing of the past for you. This is as close to permanent dentistry as one can get. With All-on-4 denture replacements, we will not only give you a beautiful smile, we’ll give you both function and durability.
With just a few implants and artfully, meticulously crafted porcelain bridges, we can give you your life back. Imagine eating steak, corn on the cob, and other delicious (and nutritious!) foods again. And never having to worry about them slipping or falling out.
This option is as close to having natural teeth again, as one can get.

Many people struggle with overcrowded (crooked) teeth. We have seen so many patients gain confidence for the first time in their lives by starting an Invisalign treatment.
Invisalign works in the same way that traditional wire braces work. But think of it more as a retainer that is worn and can be taken out. Only with one big catch: it’s clear and there are no wires!
That’s right, no wires. This makes it a viable choice for all ages. We can treat both young people and adults with this treatment. And many adults opt for this solution as the appliance is so invisible that it does not interfere with their social lives or bring any kind of stigma that the wire braces would have otherwise created.
