Respect
Respect is the foundation of every relationship. Always present, respect is reflected from a place of value and gratitude through chivalry and honoring commitments. It is knowing each team member’s role is of equal importance. It is knowing each patient, no matter their demographic, is of equal importance. It is being confident in one’s self. It is being devoted to one another in love and honoring one another above yourselves.
Trust
We trust ourselves to bring the very best that we can to every situation. Trust is based on an honest relationship in which we’re all acting in the best interests of each other. Trust is when what you think, say, and do are all in alignment. It’s about having confidence that each team member is fulfilling their role. It’s trusting that the truth spoken in love is necessary for every relationship to thrive.
Balance
Balance is about committing time to what matters and staying healthy in all of the most important areas of our lives. It’s being the master of protecting what matters in the calendar and the prioritization of choice. It’s about being fully present in the moment.
Gratitude
It comes from the heart; it requires humility and viewing something and/or someone from a different perspective. We are intentional in how we appreciate what we have, where we come from, the freedoms that we enjoy, and the ability to make a difference in the lives of others. We show our gratitude by sharing our abundance and our experiences.
Growth
Everything we do in life is about growth. Unless we’re committed to it, we don’t get anywhere. We commit time and energy to make sure we grow toward an intentional and authentic goal that helps create balance and moves us toward the fulfillment of our God-given potential.
Communication
Communication: Transparent, compassionate, and direct communication is vital to our relationships with each other and with patients. We are mindful of our nonverbal communication and what our body language, facial expressions, and tone communicate. We intentionally seek to meet the communication needs of others by explaining things in various ways and in their entirety, including the “why” behind it. We empathetically listen to others by seeking to understand their perspective and listening to comprehend what they are communicating, not simply to respond. The quality of our communication is evident by what our listener hears and takes away from what we say.
